Welcome to Border Co.
Border Co. was supposed to be two things when it started: a place for prose and a lifestyle brand selling goods designed for the open road.
Then came a realization: the world has enough stuff in it. There are brilliant makers out there already. Seek them out and support them. Buy slow. Buy intentional. I wrote more about the choice of words over goods in the essay, Breaking the Habit.
So, I pared the concept back and turned Border Co. into a space exclusively for short stories and essays that explore the quiet corners of everyday life. Think of it like an old roadside diner. A place you can pull into and rest a while over a cup of coffee.
Border Co.’s fiction pieces are inspired by the small towns and grand landscapes of America. Its essays pull on personal perspectives across life, travel, and the role of writing in my life.
